Lady Gaga Confirms New Album and Acting Debut

According to fan website Gaga Daily, Lady Gaga has announced that her fourth studio album is set to be released in 2013 (before spring) with it's first single out in late 2012. With the expectations set high, will this follow-up to her 'Born This Way" album be a hit with her Little Monsters?

Also announced is Lady Gaga's big screen debut in "Machete Kills" by Robert Rodriguez. We've seen some of Gaga's acting ability in her video "Marry The Night" depicting the story of her struggles and success in the music industry. Is 2013 Gaga's year? Personally, it's ALWAYS Lady Gaga's year! Can you tell I'm a HUGE fan?!?

DJ Havana Brown...IN FULL EFFECT!

DJ Havana Brown - Dick's Milwaukee on 7/26
I had the opportunity to catch Australia's latest international pop-electronica superstar, DJ Havana Brown, last night at Dick's Pizza & Pleasure in Milwaukee. Brown spun a set that included songs from the Top 40 including a live performance of her Platinum earning record "We Run The Night". Her energetic 45 minute set proved that Brown is truly an entertainer with staying power in the industry. Her talent, beauty, personality, and the fact that she is a killer deejay makes her a force to be reckoned with.

Madonna...Does she still have IT?!?

Check out Madonna's latest video Madonna - Turn Up The Radio now! This woman is 53-years-old and is still looking as fabulous as ever in her latest video for her song 'Turn Up the Radio' from her twelfth studio album entitled MDNA. Madonna is also currently touring the new album on her ninth world tour conveniently entitled the MDNA Tour. It looks like Madonna still reigns as the "Queen of Pop" and it doesn't look like she'll be stopping anytime soon!

Could this be my second chance to impress Legendary Music Manager, Johnny Wright?!?

Well, I've got some exciting news to share! Today I found out that I am a FINALIST for the web reality competition Take The Stage on Yobi.TV. My single 'Walking Away' was chosen to move forward in the competition where I will be competing against other finalists for a spot on the televised segment to win a cash prize and a music management contract with Legendary Music Manager, Johnny Wright. I first caught Johnny's eye when I was a contestant on the web reality competition On The Spot last year. I was competing for the opportunity to become a member in his new supergroup, now known as Y6, and finished fourteenth placed. Will this be my opportunity to once again impress Johnny and finally join his roster of artists like Ciara, The Jonas Brother, Janet Jackson, and Justin Timberlake? Stay updated with the competition - VOTING for the finals will start soon! I'm going to need all your help! -Jaizon

Reality Show Contestants Breaking Into Mainstream Music

Leah Labelle - American Idol Season 3

"Call me, maybe?" Asks Canadian Idol top three finalist, Carly Rae Jepsen. The 26-year-old British Columbia Native crossed over to the U.S. airwaves and made history when it hit the top of the digital charts making her the second Canadian artist since Justin Beiber's "Baby" reached the top spot back in January 2010. More reality show contestants, however, are breaking out in the mainstream space which may cause Carly Rae to put her phone on silent. American Idol Season three contestant, Leah Labelle, who finished 12th place has transformed from a YouTube sensation to a breakout R&B artist discovered by Jermaine Dupri and Pharrell Williams. Labelle, who is currently signed by L.A. Reid with Epic Records, released her lead single "Sexify" in March 2012 and peaked at #91 on the R&B Billboard Charts.
Cher Lloyd - X Factor U.K. Season 7

Another reality show contestant, Cher Lloyd, who finished fourth on X Factor U.K., is finding much success after also being signed by L.A. Reid to join Epic Records. Her third single, "Want You Back", which was released February 2012 in the U.K., has found it's way to the United States and her presence in pop music is expected to grow. Will these reality show born artists reach the success of other reality show contestants like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Daughtry? You be the judge. Listen to Labelle and Llloyd now:

Maroon 5's Newest Album, 'Overexposed', Gets Mixed Reviews...Say What?!?

The wait is over and it's been two years since Maroon 5 released an album. Their fourth studio album 'Overexposed' dropped yesterday which immediately garnered the #1 spot of downloaded albums on iTunes just ahead of Linkin Park's new release 'Living Things'. For Maroon 5 and Adam Levine fans, like myself, any new material from the band is music to our ears. For critics, it's a different story. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the album is being criticized as "BORING," "SAFE" and "DESPERATE". Could this mean that Levine was right about the band reaching their peak? Will this album mean the disbanding of Maroon 5?
I love the album, do you? PREVIEW THE ALBUM NOW: Maroon 5 'Overexposed' on iTunes
